Wolters Kluwer Digital Product Research
Assessing complex insurance software through heuristic evaluation and usability testing with expert users
Overview
Project:
A research study to assess updated search functionality for a complex web-based tool providing insurance-focused regulatory research and intelligence, this project allowed our team to work alongside Product Managers and Customer Service Representatives to observe and decipher expert customer use to provide actionable insights further improving the new workflow. Through heuristic evaluation, contextual inquiry, and usability testing, we formulated recommendations which were implemented strategically over the course of an annual product roadmap cycle.
